Last week I wrote about the Community Housing Partners, and that they had won a national award from the EPA and Department of Energy. Well this week they're in the news again, with an article by The Roanoke Times' Tonia Moxley about the Town of Blacksburg's Roanoke-Lee Street neighborhoods. It's actually a very good piece about the cost of development and the factor of workforce housing. For years Blacksburg has struggled with affordable housing issues as market prices have been driven higher and higher, it's nice to see this getting some attention. You can read the article here.
