The New River Valley's Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford areas have been ranked third on Farmers Insurance Group's third annual list of safe small towns in which to live. The Insurance Group rates the safety of areas based on criteria like climate, crime rate, and unemployment rate. Other safe towns in Virginia?
