With a national housing market re-adjustment (remember, there is a world outside of Blacksburg), those left in real estate will be the professionals, who really WANT to be there, who are savvy, who desire to expand their knowledge with technology knowing that it serves their customer, and realize, that with any industry, a market will ebb and flow.

p.s. I read about Loudoun taxes last week in the Post and thought how lovely Montgomery County, VA was. Prices in Loudoun have fallen back to where they were in 2004. You know people that did not sell at the top of the market are kicking themselves now. But, the surge of people, and little kiddies, still remain. They have to pay for the roads and schools somehow.
